Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop PL/SQL packages stored procedures functions and triggers to support business processes.
- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data retrieval updates and complex reports.
- Analyze existing database systems and enhance functionality performance and reliability.
- Perform database performance tuning and query optimization to improve system efficiency.
- Collaborate with business analysts project managers and other development teams to design and implement technical solutions.
- Create and maintain database documentation including data models ER diagrams and design specifications.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the database environment.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from planning design and implementation to testing and support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve PL/SQLrelated issues including performance bottlenecks bugs and system errors.
- Provide support in production systems and assist with user requirements.
- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in database management systems and Oracle PL/SQL.
Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle SQL PL/SQL and database design.
- Proficiency in creating debugging and optimizing PL/SQL scripts stored procedures triggers and functions.
- Indepth understanding of database design normalization and query optimization techniques.
- Handson experience with Oracle tools (e.g. SQL Developer TOAD).
- Experience in performance tuning and database optimization.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Familiarity with Oracle 11g 12c or higher versions.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to interact with both technical and nontechnical teams.
- Experience in version control tools (e.g. Git SVN) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Application Express (APEX).
- Experience with cloudbased Oracle databases (e.g. Oracle Autonomous Database).
- Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting is a plus.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
