Job Description
- Embracing your inner creative to help design new features and solutions across Flinks Checkout and Payments team
- Collaborating closely with other teams to deliver high value to the enduser
- Driving the team towards adapting and experimenting with new technologies
- Contributing to the scaling up of the team by bringing great talent on board and developing other team members we never let another Flinker fail!
- Fostering the Flink culture promoting inclusivity diversity and creativity in all aspects of your day to day role
- Taking part in the discussions and planning of new feature and development roadmaps
Qualifications :
- Experience building scalable and reliable largescale applications
- 5 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer with Golang
- Previous experience of architectural input into the design and build of a backend application/product/feature
- Comfortable with eventbased communication between microservices
- Familiarity with data storage and message brokering tools such as Google Pub/Sub Kafka Redis PostgreSQL etc.
- Experience using cloud provider platforms like GCP or AWS and deploying distributed services to Kubernetes. (Terraform knowledge is nice to have)
- Ideally previous experience designing and developing highavailability systems with high data/events throughput
- Proficient in applying best practice Design patterns and Design principles when building your software
- Familiarity with optimization algorithms or techniques and in particular with the challenges of applying them in realworld settings
- Fluent English communication skills
