Job Description

The role of a Business Expert Business Development Executive at Amazon typically focuses on driving growth building partnerships and helping improve customer experiences within a specific Amazon business segment. This position is generally involved in strategic planning customer outreach and market analysis. Below is a general overview of the responsibilities and skills associated with this role:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Strategy Development:

    • Define and execute strategies to grow Amazons market share in a specific segment (e.g. Retail Amazon Web Services etc.).
    • Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities to expand Amazons presence in targeted industries.
  2. Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients vendors and other stakeholders.
    • Identify and approach potential clients to introduce Amazons offerings negotiating deals and partnership agreements.
  3. CrossFunctional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with Amazons internal teams such as product management sales marketing and operations to ensure alignment and successful implementation of initiatives.
    • Provide feedback on product or service improvements based on customer and partner interactions.
  4. Sales and Revenue Growth:

    • Develop and execute sales strategies aimed at achieving set revenue targets.
    • Drive new business acquisition while expanding existing client relationships.

  7. Contract Negotiation & Deal Structuring:

    • Lead negotiations for contracts with potential partners and clients ensuring favorable terms for Amazon.
    • Ensure all agreements are compliant with legal and corporate standards.


Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field is typically required.3 years of experience in business development sales or strategy preferably in ecommerce or technology.
    • Experience with B2B sales partnerships or enterpriselevel account management.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze market data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to interact with senior executives and clients.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and dealclosing abilities.
  • Technical Familiarity: Familiarity with Amazons product offerings and services especially if related to ecommerce platforms or AWS.
  • Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and manage deadlines effectively.
