You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Sales Performance Analyst is responsible for providing indepth analysis and reporting on sales performance contributing to the overall revenue operations strategy. Reporting to the RevOps Manager Finance & Data this role focuses on analysing sales data developing performance metrics and delivering actionable insights that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
Sales Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key sales metrics such as sales performance quota attainment pipeline health win rates customer health and lead conversion. Provide insights to leadership on trends opportunities and areas for improvement.
Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze large sets of sales data to identify patterns trends and correlations that impact sales effectiveness and revenue growth. Present findings and recommendations to sales and revenue operations leadership.
Sales Forecasting Support: Assist in developing and refining sales forecasts by analysing historical performance market trends and pipeline data. Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to ensure forecasts are accurate and aligned with revenue goals.
KPI Tracking & Optimisation: Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales effectiveness customer acquisition and retention. Help establish benchmarks for performance and recommend strategies to optimise revenue operations.
CRM & Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of sales data within the CRM (e.g. Salesforce). Work closely with the sales operations business technology and data teams to improve data quality streamline reporting processes and implement automation where possible.
Crossfunctional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing finance and sales teams to ensure alignment of sales metrics with overall business goals. Provide analytical support for crossfunctional initiatives that impact sales performance.
Adhoc Analysis & Reporting: Perform adhoc analysis to support specific business needs or strategic initiatives. Develop and present custom reports for sales leadership and the revenue operations team.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve sales reporting processes and methodologies. Implement best practices for data analysis reporting automation and visualisation to enhance decisionmaking efficiency.
Qualifications :
At least 2 years of experience in sales performance analysis data analysis or a related role.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel SQL Tableau Power BI).
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and experience working with sales data.
Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain data insights to nontechnical stakeholders.
Ability to work crossfunctionally and collaborate effectively with different teams.
Problemsolving mindset and a focus on process optimisation and efficiency.
The Sales Performance Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that sales performance is thoroughly analysed and reported providing insights that drive datadriven decisionmaking and revenue growth. This role will help improve sales effectiveness through robust reporting accurate forecasting and process optimisation supporting the overall revenue operations strategy.
