Job Description
We are looking for outstanding people to join our team and currently seek to incorporate process engineer for our Spanish team. In this role you will join a wellstructured team working in close interaction with our global network.
We work as an integrated company in close and direct interaction with our global office network. We are currently implementing projects in Spain and other geographies i.e. Europe Latin America etc.
In enhancing our services and continued growth we are seeking talented and motivated people to incorporate to our technical consultancy office. A process engineer consultant plays a critical role in helping organizations improve energy and water efficiency. The main functions and responsibilities involve:
- Develop resources efficiency projects for water and energy reduction including designing and optimizing energy and waterefficient systems conduct mass and energy balance calculation implementing energy integration techniques conduct life cycle assessments and cost analysis to evaluate the longterm viability of designs optimize process parameters to ensure efficient operation.
- Liaise with clients: the new team member will establish direct relationships with clients where the projects are taking place and participate in new opportunities. He/She will act as a liaison between clients regulatory agencies and other stakeholders.
- Project Management: Lead energy and water efficiency projects from planning and budgeting to implementation and reporting;
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams; Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with other teams in AFRY both within the different service areas in the Zaragoza office and in the international AFRY community.
The position will be based in Zaragoza.
Qualifications :
- Master Degree in Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering or related.
- You will be part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent teamwork and leadership. Most of the work we do requires teamwork and you will be responsible for the results of the entire team. It can encompass work planning team support anticipating challenges leading by example and accountability to the client (with more senior support when needed).
- Fluent in Spanish and English. On the one hand many of our clients are located in Spanishspeaking or nonSpanishspeaking countries on the other hand our work requires daily collaboration in English with other AFRY offices.
- Knowledge of French is an interesting advantage.
- Demonstrated professional at least 4 year experience in any of the functions mentioned above. Experience in process industries is an advantage.

- Problem solving in complex issues.
- You must be willing to travel domestically and internationally.
- You must have a residence and work permit in Spain.
- Valid driving license required
