Job Description
Work setup: Onsite Training for 23 months then hybrid (3x a week RTO in MOA Pasay)
Shift Schedule: Day Shift
Required Qualifications:
- CPA
- Bachelors/College Degree in Financial Management Economics Accounting or other related business course
- Must have 5 years of endtoend general accounting experience particularly with financial reporting forecasting and cash management.
- Working experience in accounting software (e.g. Oracle Cloud FISAWS & Adaptiv NetSuite QuickBooks Xero).
- Experience working with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and metrics
- Nice to have: Experience in investments credit and loan products
- A fund accounting background is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Should have an understanding of general accounting principles including financial statements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform monthend close finance operations including checking financial transactions and payments in the ledger as well as conducting account reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial reports including balance sheets P&L statements and cash flow reports.
- Manage general ledger (GL) accounts ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation in monthend close activities.
- Identify control gaps in financial processes and implement key internal controls where necessary.
- Ensure all accounting processes and controls are welldocumented and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee compliance and tax reporting including VAT corporate tax returns and regulatory filings.
- Liaise with the Technology team to log and resolve accounting system issues (e.g. Oracle Cloud FIS AWS & Adaptiv NetSuite QuickBooks Xero).
- Provide accounting guidance on relevant topics and update accounting papers/guidance as necessary.
- Support cash performance and forecasting credit assessments and financial modeling.
- Participate in adhoc projects in support of the department or company initiatives.
