Job Description
1. Oversee and safeguard the infrastructure and Manateqs assets across Logistic Zones and recommend any appropriate action in cases where client activities and operations interfere with the safeguarding and operations of infrastructure and assets.
2. Assist as required in defining technical scope and specifications for infrastructure enhancement projects and other relevant projects.
3. Assist in coordination to relevant government authorities such as Ashghal Kahramaa whenever necessary to ensure regulations and standards related to the construction operation and maintenance of infrastructure are being implemented appropriately at Logistic Zones and ensure any issues and/or changes are followed up accordingly.
4. Stay updated to relevant and recent revisions in government regulations and standards that may take effect from timetotime related to infrastructure and assets and ensure all stakeholders are well informed and implementing them accordingly.
5. Review and provide recommendation for issuance of the work permit(s) along in Manateq area of Jurisdiction submitted by the service provider to ensure a safe and systematic workflow.
6. Conduct routine inspection to all clients premises to maintain adherence to company & Statutory Authorities rules and regulation including crosscoordination to HSE Department for health safety and environment (HSE) compliance framework across Logistic Zones in addition to providing information to clients as required in technical aspects (e.g. plots allocated power load access) of newly developed and operational land and infrastructure and give technical feedback in the event of any issues that may arise.
7. Any other duties requested by Management.
Requirements
A bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field is required.
A minimum of 6 8 years of work experience preferably in the required discipline.
A certification in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient in English.
Teamwork and collaboration skills
Communication and interpersonal skills
Planning and organizing skills
Analytical trouble shooting and problem solving skills
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in Qatar.
Knowledge of civil engineering drawings and designs
Technical skills and knowledge in infrastructure safeguarding and operational maintenance
Knowledge and experience in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) orCAFM
