Job Description

SMO Solutions is a global team with offices in Singapore Dublin and Halifax. The teams mission is to enable operational excellence through process improvements & technology enablement. The projects we take charge includes New client onboarding Process reengineering and Product development. You will be part of a projects team working to deliver industry leading solutions to our various stakeholders.

This role reports to the Senior Associate Director Middle Office Operations Single Manager Operations.

You Will:

  • Analyze business processes and provide solutions for process improvements
  • Lead deep dive exercises and ensure processes are in line with the target operating model
  • Onboard new clients and ensure processes are in line with target operating model
  • Attend to system related issues and provide support to the various stakeholders
  • Raise development requirements and perform user acceptance testing
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders
  • Become a subject matter expert in the suite of products that are relevant to the team
  • Manage adhoc projects

Qualifications :

You Have:

  • A University degree in Computer Science Math Finance Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • Process engineering/ Product management experience within the Fund Administration or Asset Management industry
  • Reconciliation / Fund Accounting experience within the Fund Administration or Asset Management industry
  • New client onboarding experience within the Fund Administration or Asset Management industry
  • Understanding of reconciliation workflow and products involved within the reconciliation process
  • Willing to embrace new technologies in order to identify new solutions & inefficient processes
  • Strong communication and project management skills

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

  • PMP / Lean Six Sigma certified
  • Experience with MS Visio PowerBI VBA and SQL
  • Proven passion to improve processes and increase efficiency
  • Creativity in exploring solutions to improve daytoday operational efficiency
