Job Description

United Living Infrastructure are currently looking for a SHEQ Advisor to provide invaluable health and safety support and advice to teams undertaking works on behalf of Northumbrian Water. Your role as SHEQ Advisor will involve:

  • Undertaking periodic risk assessments and implementing more robust procedures when necessary
  • Providing specialist SHEQ advice to colleagues / subcontractors
  • Ensuring contracts are compliant and that positive behaviours are embedded in the day to day works of our operational teams

Qualifications :

This is primarily a sitebased role which will require a SHEQ professional with previous Utilities / water sector experience in addition to a full UK driving license and vehicle for work purposes. You will also possess the following:

  • Understanding of health and safety issues as they relate to the property maintenance space and ability to implement processes in line with industry standards
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and subcontractors; we are looking for a team player who can add value to our operational teams
  • NEBOSH General / Construction Certificate
