SENIOR EHR Contract Interoperability Support Analyst
Assignment Synopsis:
  • This is a Senior Level role.

  • It will be expected to lead the interoperability implementations as assigned as well as provide expert guidance in interfacing and messaging requirements and standards
  • This critical role will be the primary point of contact for the implementation and support of integrations between Clients platforms and our customers clinical systems.
  • The role will be working with internal cross functional technical and commercial teams as well as our customers IT and clinical team members.
  • This is a nonexempt position.
Duties:
  • Primary liaison between the IT and business areas. Provides direct support to assigned business area.
  • Works directly with clients and applies IT and applies IT and business knowledge and experience to develop and understand the business case and business requirements to solve for technology related business problems.
  • Leads department level initiatives or provides assistance to Program or Project managers on phases of a larger project.
  • May assist in business relationship management business strategy and planning portfolio/demand management.
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
  • Applies and executes standard information systems theories concepts and techniques and assists in the development of standards and procedures.
  • Partners with Corporate service providers to investigate alternatives which use existing applications.
  • May conduct training.
  • Manages initiatives according to milestones and within budget constraints.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements.
  • Independently conceives and develops general approaches to develop business requirements and business case.
  • Exercises latitude in the approach to problem solving.
  • Work is reviewed for soundness of business judgment and to determine if overall results and objectives have been achieved.
  • Determines and develops approach to problem.
  • Medium/high complexity work. Errors or failure to achieve expected results may result in project delays or the expenditure of more resources than was planned.
  • Works with minimal management direction.
  • Monitors and organized the efforts of and business support staff.
  • Guides the efforts of less experienced staff.
  • No budge responsibility.
  • May have indirect team responsibility.
Requirements:
  • Requiired 47 years of experience.
  • changing technology for the management and treatment of people living with chronic conditions
  • including Diabetes Cardiovascular disease Chronic Pain and Movement Disorders.
  • The EHR Contract Interoperability Support Analyst Senior reports to the Senior Manager EHR
  • Connectivity Operations.
  • This critical role will be the primary point of contact for the implementation
  • and support of integrations between Clients platforms and our customers clinical
  • systems. The role will be responsible for supporting monitoring and maintaining existing interfaces
  • development of integration when directed and resolving issues as they arise.
  • This role will be expected
  • to lead the interoperability implementations as assigned as well as provide expert guidance in
  • interfacing and messaging requirements and standards.
  • The role will be working with internal cross
  • functional technical and commercial teams as well as our customers IT and clinical team members.
WHAT YOULL DO:
Implement support and develop when when directed for integrations between customer systems
and Client platforms leveraging a variety of interoperability standards and
communication protocols.
Be the technical implementation and support lead on integration projects between Client platforms and customer systems.
Acts as primary interface subject matter expert for clients and vendors within implementation
projects
Work closely with customers IT and clinical team members as needed.
Provide technical expertise with internal and external users regarding healthcare data and
corresponding integrations.
Provide production support.
Troubleshoot interface issues in coordination with internal and external teams.
Collaborate with cross functional internal technical and commercial teams.
Ensure high customer satisfaction by ensuring all customer engagements are executed on time with
high quality.
Create and maintain technical documentation library for both external and internal teams.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOULL BRING:

Required:
BA/BS in Information Technology Computer Science or related field preferred
Demonstratable understanding of various healthcare data standards and frameworks such as HL7
v2 CCDA FHIR IHE profiles SMART on FHIR etc.
Deep experience with Integration Engine services such as Rhapsody Cloverleaf InterSystems
Corepoint etc.
Minimum of five years in a healthcare integration analyst or engineer role.
Working knowledge of various communication protocols such as TCP/IP (S)FTP HTTP(s) etc.
Strong background with EHR systems such as Epic Cerner Meditech Allscripts etc.
Understanding of clinical libraries such as SNOMED LOINC ICD RxNorm etc.
Strong interpersonal written presentation communication and technical skills.
Problem solving of highly complex issues which requires critical assessment of potential impact on
multiple interested parties. The candidate must be proactive in issue identification analysis course
correction and resolution.
Ability to distill complex information into concise impactful communications to both internal and
external customers/stakeholders often in a matrixed environment.

Preferred:
HL7 Certification (v2 CCDA and/or FHIR)
Integration Engine certification
EHR Integration Certifications such as Epic Bridges or Cerner FSI
Experience with Linux based operating systems such as RedHat
Understanding of networking principles
