Role: Business Analyst 3

Location: Austin Texas (4 days remote with 1 day (Mondays) required to be onsite)

Client: State of Texas

Position will be 4 days remote with 1 day (Mondays) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY.

C) Any and all travel per diem parking and/or living expenses shall be at the workers and/or Vendors expense.

D) The worker may be required to work remotely at HHSC discretion up to 100 percent of the time.

E) The worker may be required to work outside the normal business hours on weekends evenings and holidays as requested. Payment for work over 40 hours will be at the hourly rate quoted and must be coordinated and preapproved through the Agency.

Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of 1 Business Analyst 3 hereafter referred to as Candidate(s) who meets the general qualifications of Business Analyst 3 Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered works made for hire and are the property of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and may include preselection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Health and Human Services Commission will pay no fees for interviews or discussions which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).

This position will work on a Webbased Power Apps platformbased application that is used by internal HHSC/DSHS agency staff and external partners that do intake of information from over 1500 users that is then processed as part of detailed analysis agencywide. This position will perform the duties of a Business Analyst that include collaboration with the delivery teams and application users to gather requirements perform detailed analysis of requirements to develop requirements and design for required system modifications complete business requirement documents user stories and business area collaboration and/or coordination. Will also work with technical teams to coordinate demos UAT code releases project/product management level planning and user communication as necessary. Must have experience working in an Agile environment. Some oncall support may be required depending on project phase.
