PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the Corporate IT organization you will join the IT Delivery team for LIMs (Laboratory Information Management Systems: StarLIMS technology) providing technical expertise:
- Participate to the implementation of the reporting module of the LIMS solution based on Crystal Report technologies either by developing new Reports or by maintaining existing ones.
- Take responsibility of reviewing and optimizing a set of Crystal Reports templates.
- Provide 3rd level application support for the application.
- Interact closely with Vendor delivery team members and provide technical guidance

SPECIFIC TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the implementation of LIMS related development in a timely and quality fashion.
- Creating and delivering high quality Crystal Reports as requested. Maintenance and support users and team members on Crystal Reports usage.
- Translate business and IT specifications into detailed designs and Crystal Report templates as well as unit and system testing
- Ensure the quality of the development by implementing best practice designs documenting the code appropriately and ensuring performance maximization by optimizing the code
- Implement the data model changes required by the LIMS
- Create the views and SQL statements that may be required by reporting tools
- Define the indexes that are required for optimized performance
- Ensure the 3rd level support of inhouse development in collaboration with other development team members
- At all times comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct
Qualifications :
PROFILE
- High Level Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related subject
- Minimum 3 years of relevant Crystal Reports development experience.
- Required
- Crystal Reports experience
- Experience with Relational Databases SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
- Knowledge of development methodologies (Agile Scrum)
- Ideally
- Knowledge of LIMS
- Experience with GIT projects repository
- Experience with Word Report development
- Relevant experience of SQL development including ability to write and tune sql code for optimized performance
- Strong knowledge and experience in designing database model
- Good understanding of the Application Lifecycle Management
- Used to work in an international environment
