Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Chichester to assist with the appointment of a Catering Assistant on a 3month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Hours Per Week: 20.00
Rate of Pay: 11.59 14.11 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining the standards required to meet Food Safety and Health & Safety Legislation.
- Assist in the preparation cooking service clearing and cleaning of the catering equipment and kitchen environment within the required standards.
- Provide written documents in relation to Health & Safety and Food Safety
Legislation and business requirements.
Qualifications:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
- Prior experience in working in a commercial catering environment.
- Experience in dealing with customers including written and verbal
communication. - Experience in working within Health & Safety practices in a commercial
setting
Please note:
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an enhanced DBS
