About the Role
ICP is hiring an HVAC Engineer to support a leading designbuild HVAC contractor specializing in commercial and industrial projects. This role is crucial for designing and developing efficient HVAC systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and collaborating with project teams to deliver costeffective highperformance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support HVAC system design and engineering including load calculations equipment selection and system integration.
- Ensure compliance with local state and national codes and regulations.
- Conduct site surveys to verify HVAC system installations align with project specifications.
- Prepare reports and communicate design decisions to clients contractors and project stakeholders.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in HVAC engineering and system design.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems energy modeling and ASHRAE/local codes.
- Proficiency in BIM/Revit and AutoCAD (2015 or above) preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
