General Manager Projects (Residential Development)
Senior Construction Leadership Position
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Projects to lead our residential development division overseeing multiple largescale residential construction projects from inception to completion. The role requires exceptional project management skills and deep expertise in residential construction.
Compulsory Experience in Tendering Planning & Execution of High Rise Building.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate multiple residential construction projects simultaneously ensuring delivery within budget timeline and quality specifications
Develop and implement project management methodologies standards and best practices across all residential developments
Lead project planning including resource allocation scheduling budgeting and risk management strategies
Oversee project teams including architects contractors engineers and other consultants ensuring effective collaboration and communication
Monitor and control project costs timelines and quality metrics implementing corrective actions when necessary
Ensure compliance with building codes safety regulations and environmental standards across all projects
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering Architecture or related field
10 years of experience in residential construction project management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Proven track record of successfully delivering largescale residential projects
Strong understanding of construction methodologies building regulations and industry standards
Professional certifications such as PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent industry qualifications
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Primavera P6 MS Project)
Experience with BIM technology and construction management platforms
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
Understanding of sustainable building practices and green building certifications
Leadership Competencies:
Project Leadership: Ability to guide multiple project teams and stakeholders toward common goals
Strategic Planning: Experience in developing and implementing project delivery strategies
Risk Management: Skilled in identifying assessing and mitigating project risks
Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to manage relationships with internal teams contractors and clients
Problem Resolution: Excellence in resolving complex project challenges and conflicts

The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and requires regular site visits to various project locations.
