Role: We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Business Analyst with a strong focus on Software Portfolio Management (SPM). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in gathering business requirements analyzing business processes and working closely with stakeholders to implement and optimize the ServiceNow SPM module. You will be responsible for configuring documenting and ensuring the successful implementation of SPM solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The ServiceNow Business Analyst (BA) plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform
A deeper understanding of the ServiceNow SPM module its functionalities and how it aligns with strategic portfolio management best practices is crucial
Experience in how SPM integrates with other ServiceNow modules (e.g. Project Management Demand Management Resource Management) and external systems.
A strong grasp of portfolio management concepts including strategic alignment prioritization resource allocation and risk management.
Understanding how to align projects and initiatives with overall business strategy and objectives
Ability to map and document current and future state processes for portfolio management
Skill in translating business needs into user stories for development teams.
Confidence in presenting findings recommendations and solutions to stakeholders.
A general understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its architecture is beneficial.
Ability to create reports and dashboards to visualize portfolio performance and key metric
Understanding of change management principles to support the adoption of new portfolio management processes and tools.
The BA collaborates with ServiceNow developers and administrators to translate business requirements into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform
Design and document workflows processes and configurations within ServiceNow to meet the identified needs
Involved in developing test cases to ensure that the implemented solutions meet the requirements.
Certifications like:
ServiceNow System Administrator
ServiceNow Application Developer
ITIL Foundation
