Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Human Resources (HR) Specialist to join our dynamic HR team in our company. This position will support the overall HR functions of the organization focusing on recruitment employee relations performance management and compliance with employment laws and regulations. The HR Specialist will work closely with leadership to foster a positive work environment and contribute to the development of HR initiatives that align with the companys goals and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and amp; Staffing:
  • Manage the recruitment process from job postings resume screening interviewing and hiring.
  • Coordinate with department managers to understand staffing needs and job specifications.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees and ensure smooth transitions.
Employee Relations:
  • Address employee concerns and provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in resolving conflicts and promote a positive work culture.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management regarding retention strategies.
Compliance and amp; Policy Administration:
  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Update and communicate company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain employee records in accordance with legal requirements.
Performance Management:
  • Support performance evaluation processes and employee development initiatives.
  • Assist managers with goal setting feedback and performance improvement plans.
  • Monitor training and development programs to ensure employee growth.
Compensation and amp; Benefits:
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs (health insurance retirement plans etc.).
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in collaboration with finance teams.
HR Systems and amp; Reporting:
  • Maintain HRIS systems and ensure employee data is accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare regular reports on HR metrics and trends for management review.
Training and amp; Development:
  • Coordinate or assist in the development of employee training programs.
  • Promote opportunities for skills development and career progression.

Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience:25 years of experience in HR or a related field.
  • Experience with HR software (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge and amp; Skills:Strong knowledge of employment laws regulations and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Certifications (Preferred):SHRMCP or PHR certification (or other relevant HR certifications).

Working Conditions:

  • Fulltime position with regular office hours or specify flexible hours if applicable.
  • Occasional travel may be required for recruitment or training purposes.
  • Additional physical requirements if applicable.
