The impact you will have:

Softchoice s Finance team is looking for a selfmotivated enthusiastic AP representative seeking experience on a collaborative and dynamic Accounts Payable team. You will be leading vendor and account reconciliations for key accounts and working closely with cross functional stakeholders to drive issue resolution. In addition we will seek and value your process improvement suggestions. With an inquisitive mindset attention to detail and problemsolving expertise you will improve efficiency of invoice processing and maximize payment accuracy.

What you ll do:

Input supplier invoices and credit memos into the system ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Enter consolidated invoices for Public Cloud vendors perform 3way reconciliations and offset Invoice Price Variance Balance Sheet accounts adhering to monthend cutoffs.

Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoicing issues investigating tracking progress and escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely and proper resolution and closeout.

Monitor EDI rejections and clear EDI holds identifying and forwarding issues to the related department.

Conduct regular supplier account reconciliations identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Maintain Goods Receipt Invoice Receipt report and ATB aging of assigned accounts identifying and troubleshooting issues and escalating to various departments for timely resolution. Investigate and initiate the cleanup of aged items for assigned accounts

Manage payment terms effectively to improve cash flow.

Assist with monthend revenue recognition activities.

Respond to vendor payment inquiries.

Perform other adhoc projects as required.

What you ll bring to the table:

3 years of relevant progressive experience strong understanding of AP processes accrual accounting and GAAP/IFRS standards.

Proficiency in SAP

Postsecondary degree in Accounting or Finance

Excellent Excel skills expert knowledge of VLOOKUP pivot tables and formulas

Experience with AIbased invoice processing and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) is an asset.

Knowledge of fraud prevention approval hierarchies and compliance with company policies.

Strong communication (oral and written) attention to detail and organizational skills

Creative outofthebox thinking capabilities with strong problemsolving skills

Selfmotivated selfstarter able to work well independently and within a team environment

Ability to foster proactive working relationships with cross functional departments
