Qantas Freight is Australias largest independent air freight services business moving over 4000 air freight shipments across more than 500 destinations globally.

The role Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for helping develop and leading the implementation of all marketing and communications for Qantas Freight globally.  

In this role you will be required to work closely with a broad stakeholder group across the Qantas Freight business and engage Qantas Group Communications Digital and Marketing teams as needed to develop and activate the Qantas Freight communications strategy. 

You will be responsible for managing all stages of design production and distribution for external customer communications and marketing material including website email marketing event and sponsorship management and lead the production of videos and photography for Qantas Freight and associated partners.  This is a hands on role which will require you to work across multiple disciplines in the detail as well as think strategically.

Youll have: 

• Tertiary qualifications in communications marketing or related business disciplines 
• Minimum 5 years experience in the preparation of communications and marketing material preferably for a targeted B2B customer base 
• Exceptional written and communication skills along with strong presentation and design expertise 
• Ability to brief agencies and manage design video photography and print production 
• Solid understanding of supply chain infrastructure for domestic and import/export shipments
• Proven ability to translate business strategies into effective marketing campaigns
• Advanced desktop publishing skills including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint 
• Experience using online content management systems and email platforms 
• Ability to deal with fastpaced environments and manage numerous tasks concurrently to meet deadlines 
• Excellent team player with the ability to build strong relationships (both internally and externally) including at senior levels
