Senior Entry Writer
Location: Long Beach CA (onsite)
Compensation: $70K$72K annually
Job Type: Fulltime
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

What will you do
- Manage assigned accounts with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by applying strong knowledge of Partner Government Agencies (FDA USDA AMS NOP etc.).
- Classify products according to HTSUSA and follow customer SOPs for entry preparation.
- Process import shipments by reviewing documentation inputting and transmitting data for CBP release.
- Handle customs issues including holds exams entry cancellations IT/TE/IE moves carnets and TIB entries.
- Resolve shipment delays by identifying and addressing issues affecting cargo release.
- Communicate effectively with customers and management regarding urgent shipments.
- Track and trace shipments coordinating with airlines steamship lines freight forwarders and CFS facilities.
- Arrange freight solutions by working with trucking companies for pickup and delivery.
- Provide advisory services on classification FTA qualification and PGA requirements.
- Identify business opportunities and assist in engineering client solutions.
What will you need
- 57 years of progressive experience in customs brokerage operations.
- Expertise in CHB operations with handson experience in FDA and PGAs.
- Strong client interaction skills with the ability to engage highlevel customers.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite at an intermediate level.
- CargoWise experience is required.
- Knowledge of customs regulations (19CFR) and HTS classification.
