Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Cairo Egypt. As a key member of our housekeeping department you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our establishment.
- Lead and assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring service standards are consistently met
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain impeccable cleanliness and presentation
- Identify training needs and provide guidance to supervisors and team members to enhance their skills and performance
- Collaborate closely with the Maintenance department to address guest room repairs and ensure effective communication
- Promptly address guest concerns implementing quick solutions and following up to ensure satisfaction
- Balance operational administrative and team member needs efficiently
- Implement and enforce departmental policies and procedures
- Report and follow up on necessary maintenance items
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation policies
- Assist with additional responsibilities in the absence of team members or as assigned by management
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative housekeeping strategies
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a luxury hotel or highend residential setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and housekeeping management software
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred)
- Indepth knowledge of housekeeping best practices safety standards and quality control procedures
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Customerfocused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
- Familiarity with local hospitality standards and cultural norms in Cairo Egypt
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and selfmotivation
- Physical stamina to perform the duties of the role including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds
