Job Description: Overview:
We have an urgent need for two Senior Data Engineers to join our team for HR/Finance projects. This role is essential for ensuring the timely ingestion and transformation of complex data providing crucial business insights and supporting our datadriven decisionmaking processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Ingestion: Ingest data from various sources into Snowflake.
UDM Creation: Develop UserDefined Measures (UDMs) to support Snowflake.
Reporting Solutions: Create and maintain reporting views to support various reporting solutions.
Collaborative Efforts: Work with limited direction collaborating with other departments to understand business requirements and address complex financial and HR data problems.
Optimization: Write efficient and at times complex SQL queries to optimize data processing and reporting.
Requirements:
Experience: Expertlevel experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
SQL Proficiency: Proficient in writing efficient and complex SQL queries.
Snowflake: Experience with Snowflake is highly desirable.
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business problems related to HR and Finance data.
Independence: Ability to work independently with limited information and direction.
Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior data engineers ensuring highquality deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience: Prior experience in handling complex financial and HR data.
Certification: Relevant certifications in data engineering and cloud platforms.
