Job Description
Position : Senior Tax Specialist
Work Hours (Client) : 6AM 3PM or 7AM 4PM PST
Holidays : US Holidays
Pay Range : $1600 $2100 USD/month
About the Job
We are looking for a Tax Professional with 2 years of experience. Our firm is fast growing and is looking for our next addition to our already top notch tax team. This person will be working directly with the partners and will have great exposure as well as the opportunity for growth. The duties for this opportunity will focus around Partnership CCorp SCorp Individual tax preparations and reviews.
The ideal candidate will be degreed with a BS in Accounting have at least 2 years of experience at another CPA firm be a CPA or on track and preferably be willing to get their MST/MBT as well.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in public accounting tax preparation
- Experience preparing individual corporate partnership and trust income tax returns
- Desire for a career in public accounting
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or equivalent
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Experience preparing complex consolidated composite and multistate returns
- Experience with quarterly and yearend tax planning
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Tax research skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with tax technology similar to RIA Checkpoint CCH Axcess Tax or Ultra Tax. Experience with Fixed Asset and General Ledger software programs is also required.
- ASC 740 and multistate experience preferred though not required.
- Exceptional client relationship skills essential.
