Job Description
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for maintaining and processing accurate accounting records for receipts and/or disbursements within the company.
This role provides the opportunity to perform a variety of complex clerical bookkeeping and accounting tasks. This all to be completed by applying accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting and other records preparing statistical and/or other reports..
Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller this candidate will be successful by acquiring excellent organizational and communication skills.
Qualifications :
Experience Requirements:
- 3 years payables experience preferably in a wholesale or manufacturing environment
- College / University diploma in Accounting or Finance
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and AX (minimum intermediate level)
- Knowledge of financial accounting and matching principle
- Experience with accounts payable cycle
The Successful Candidate:
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Selfmotivated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Experience handling large volumes of email
