Job Description
GS Italy is looking for a person to join as a Laboratory Analyst in the NR Business Line in Malta who will be responsible for performing chemical analysis and quality control in the OIL Gas and Chemical
Qualifications :
- A school leaving certificate with a focus on subjects such as English Mathematics or Sciences demonstrating an aboveaverage proficiency are highly valued.
- Candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- An O and A Level standard of education and MCAST diplomas will be considered an advantage.
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and webbased platforms are a must.
- Possess a clean and valid driving license.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
The following will be considered an asset however not necessary since full training will be provided to successful candidates.
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Diploma as a Chemical Expert
- Experience of at least 2 years in instrumental and preparative analysis
- Mastery of ISO 9001
- Laboratory instrumental data management
- Knowledge of laboratory software
Complete the profile:
- Strong organizational sense and problem solving
- Accuracy and reliability and autonomy
- Good knowledge of the English language
