Job Description
The Visa Acceptance Platform team is looking for an intern for the Centralized Data Platform team. The Data Platform houses large amounts of data processed by various Visa products to enable organizations to leverage their data effectively driving better decision making innovation and competitive advantage. The team manages the data infrastructure tools pipelines governance data models integration mechanisms data modeling and analytics products to develop insights and drive business decisions. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team for the summer. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in data platform management and analytics working on realworld projects that make a significant impact.
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Assist in requirements gathering data from various sources including databases and integration methods. Support the data ingestion process ensuring data is accurately and efficiently collected.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends patterns and insights. Use statistical techniques and data visualization tools to analyze data and present findings.
- Assist in creating dashboards reports and visualizations to communicate data insights to stakeholders. Use tools like Tableau Power BI to develop visual representations of data.
- Collaborate with the analytics team on various projects in testing and validating analytical models and algorithms.
- Help document data processes methodologies and findings. Prepare reports and presentations to share insights with the team and other stakeholders.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including data engineers data scientists and product managers.
- Participate in team meetings brainstorming sessions and project review
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelors degreegraduating December 2025 or later
- Strong communications skills specifically the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors clear and concise written and spoken communications that demonstrate professional judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interest in data analytics data science and data engineering.
- Basic understanding of data analysis techniques and statistical methods.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) and programming languages (e.g. Python R SQL).
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
- Previous internship or project experience in data analytics or related field.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and techniques.
- Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g. Hadoop Apache Spark BigQuery) streaming systems (es: Apache Kafka Google pub/sub Azure stream) and ETL platforms (Apache NiFi Google dataflow AWS Glue) and BI tools (eg: Tableau Denodo Power BI)
Additional Information :
U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated hourly range for a new hire into this position is $27.00 to $30.00 which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.

Travel Requirements:This position requires travel510% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements:This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.
