Job Description
A Leading construction company is looking for Architect who is responsible for designing and planning buildings and other structures. This role involves creating innovative functional and sustainable designs while ensuring compliance with safety regulations local zoning laws and client requirements. The Architect will collaborate with clients engineers contractors and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Planning:
- Develop architectural concepts and designs based on client needs site conditions and regulatory requirements.
- Create detailed architectural plans including floor plans elevations sections and 3D models using CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit SketchUp).
- Ensure designs are functional aesthetically pleasing and compliant with zoning laws building codes and safety standards.
- Develop architectural concepts and designs based on client needs site conditions and regulatory requirements.
Client Consultation:
- Meet with clients to discuss project requirements objectives budgets and timelines.
- Provide professional advice on design possibilities materials and construction techniques.
- Present design concepts to clients and make revisions based on feedback.

Project Management:
- Coordinate and oversee the entire architectural process including design development documentation and construction.
- Work with engineers contractors and other specialists to integrate structural electrical and mechanical systems into designs.
- Prepare and manage project schedules and budgets ensuring adherence to deadlines and cost constraints.

- Prepare and submit comprehensive construction documents including architectural drawings specifications and permits.
- Review and approve construction drawings prepared by contractors and consultants.
- Ensure all documentation is up to date and accurately reflects design changes or adjustments.

- Conduct site visits to assess the progress of construction and ensure design integrity is maintained.
- Work with contractors to resolve any issues or design challenges that arise during construction.

- Collaborate with other design professionals such as interior designers landscape architects and urban planners to ensure seamless project execution.

- Ensure all designs and construction practices comply with local state and federal building codes zoning regulations and environmental laws.

Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- Licensed architect (must hold the necessary professional certifications and credentials such as NCARB AIA etc.).
Experience:
- Proven experience (typically 3 years) as an Architect with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Experience working with clients managing design teams and overseeing projects from concept through to completion.
- Experience with both residential and commercial projects is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD Revit SketchUp Rhino or similar.
- Strong understanding of building codes zoning laws and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices energyefficient systems and green building certifications (e.g. LEED).
Personal Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients contractors and team members.
- Strong problemsolving and critical thinking abilities.
- Creativity and attention to detail in design and construction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
