Be a leader in obstetrics and gynaecology, drive innovation in rural healthcare, and make a real difference in Queensland s remote communities!

As the Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, you will:
  • Lead and manage the O&G department, ensuring high-quality maternity and gynaecology services.
  • Provide clinical leadership and train registrars, junior doctors, and health professionals.
  • Oversee inpatient, outpatient, and outreach O&G services.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and service efficiency.
  • Maintain clinical governance and risk management.
  • Develop innovative care models and engage in research to improve regional women s healthcare.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams and collaborate on service planning.
Who We re Looking For
  • FRANZCOG (Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists).
  • AHPRA Specialist Registration in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
  • Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in teaching, training, and mentoring junior doctors.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance, safety protocols, and hospital accreditation standards.
  • Willingness to travel to regional and remote healthcare sites as needed.
