Job Description
Role: Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst
Required Skills:
Experience:
- 46 years working in a SOC environment or strong security operations experience.

Certifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Intrusion Analyst (GIAC)
- Continuous Monitoring (GMON)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or equivalent
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Technical Skills:
- Ability to work rotating shifts to provide 24/7 client support.
- Experience with security technologies such as:
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
- IDS/IPS
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Proxy servers
- Web Application Firewall (WAF)
- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
- AntiVirus
- Sandboxing
- Network and hostbased firewalls
- Threat Intelligence
- Penetration Testing
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
- Knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) tactics techniques and procedures (TTPs).
- Understanding of attack activities such as network probing/scanning DDoS and malicious code activity.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure devices like routers and switches.
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP DNS HTTP).
- Fundamental knowledge of system security architecture and security solutions.
- Ability to work rotating shifts to provide 24/7 client support.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Selfmotivated with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
- A strong desire to understand the what why and how behind security incidents.
Qualification:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Cyber Security Information Security Engineering or Information Technology.
