Freelance - Social Media Consultant

Job Requirements

• Assigned individual should a bachelor’s degree, ideally in social science, international affairs, marketing or communication. Masters preferred but not essential;
• 7+ years’ experience working on social media, digital marketing or editorial for private sector, global company or publishing outlet;
• Experience in developing and implementing social media or digital marketing strategies for international organizations.;
• Experience in using a wide range of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Pinterest;
• Experience of capacity building and training is a must;
• Experience of blogging and knowledge of best practices;
• Experience of social media monitoring technology and reporting on social media measurement (quantitative and qualitative for social media);
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities within specified timeframes;
• Proven skills in communication, networking, strategic thinking, advocacy, negotiation, and ability to relate to a young audience;
• Strong awareness of social media communication behaviors in developing regions/countries.
• Awareness of best practices in user experience and design;
• Must have excellent command of English and Arabic;
