Job Description
Work setup: Onsite Training for 23 months then hybrid (3x a week RTO in MOA Pasay)
Shift Schedule: Day Shift
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors/College Degree in Financial Management Economics Accounting or other related business course
- 3yrs experience in EndtoEnd General Accounting and US GAAP
- Experience preparing Financial Statements
- Must have a fund accounting background
- Knowledge/Understanding of Loans and Credit (Familiarity with Credit and Loan Products)
- Good communication skills
- Should have an understanding of general accounting principles including financial statements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform monthend close finance operations including the checking of financial transactions and payments in the ledger as
well as account reconciliations - Identify and execute improvements/automation of the monthend close processes
- Identify control gaps in the process and implement key controls where necessary
- Ensure all processes and controls are adequately documented
- Liaise with the Technology team to ensure all accounting systems issues are logged and closed out in an appropriate
timeframe - From time to time provide accounting guidance on relevant topics and update accounting papers/guidance as necessary
- Participate in adhoc tasks/projects in support of the department or Companys initiatives.
