WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Tse Addo

Reports to: General Manager
Our client is a wellknown automobile garage in Accra.
Scope
The Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for managing team of mechanics coordinate all vehicle checks with clients and managing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanics assign tasks and provide training to ensure productivity.
- Inspect repair work to meet safety and industry standards.
- Oversee tools equipment and parts procurement to maintain stock levels.
- Communicate with customers provide updates address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure regulatory compliance in the workshop to identify potential problems in vehicles.
- Test parts and systems to ensure that they work properly.
- Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined.
- Explain automotive problems and repairs to clients.
Requirements
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certifications in automotive repair/maintenance are an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or within the automotive industry.
- Proven experience managing a team of mechanics/technicians.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics repairs and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and workshop software/tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
- Strong organisational and timemanagement skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in workshop operations.
