Job Description
This is a remote position.
NextLink is looking for a Senior Frontend developer to join our team in our client project Pharma industry.
- Implement new functionalities in a large application using React Redux and TypeScript ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Implement and optimize UI components with a focus on accessibility (a11y) and RighttoLeft (RTL) support.
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability following best practices in TDD/BDD.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers backend developers and product managers in a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in code reviews offering constructive feedback to maintain high development standards.
- Contribute to architectural decisions with the Tech Lead researching and integrating emerging frontend technologies.
- Work in an agile development environment participating in sprint planning standups and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Solid experience with different languages and paradigms like Vanilla Javascript (ES6) TypeScript and functional languages.
- Good understanding of coding best practices clean code refactoring design patterns
- Solid experience in any single page application frameworks React Angular Vue or similar preferably React with Redux.
- Strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Jest React Testing Library or Cypress.
- Ability to write responsive and RTL ready CSS and HTML.
- Ability to implement web accessibility standards (WCAG) in HTML.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environments (Jenkins GitHub actions GitLab SonarQube )
- Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and development tools like Jira.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a productoriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent English proficiency is required.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience withWeb Components (LitElement)
- Experience with data visualization and libraries like D3.js.
- Intermediate to high experience, enough to be able to manage conflicts, challenge business customers, manage expectations and keep the focus on overarching goal/vision. - Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira and Confluence is a plus. - Experienced in project delivery. Capacity to plan, enable, organize, facilitate, lead. - Ability to provide support for running operations, issue management and problem solving. - Solid IT technical & engineering background, ideally around web development technologies - Past exposure to privacy solutions (such as OneTrust) - Knowledge of/exposure to Digital Marketing solutions is a plus (CRM, campaign management, web analytics) - Soft Skills: Proactive, autonomous, transparent and customer focus mindset with care to the details. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Communication skills, especially working in virtual and global teams. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
