Tax Accountant

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and detailoriented Tax Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file federal state and local tax returns promptly
• Assist in creating tax provision schedules returns payments and reports
• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
• Support senior tax accountants in tax audits and communications with tax authorities
• Maintain and organize tax records and documentation
• Participate in preparing tax forecasts and budgets
• Assist in identifying and implementing taxsaving strategies
• Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and communicate implications to the team
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
• CPA certification required
• 5 years of experience in a related field or as a tax accountant
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fastpaced environment
