Skill 3 Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills

Applied Materials Inc. is the leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce virtually every new chip and advanced display in the work. Our IT team is looking for an experienced and strong functional consultant who demonstrates IT solution architect skills in multiple& varied business processes that are project driven.
Job Responsibilities:
Assess the business requirement (RIT) and work with BPA/End users to review/streamline the requirement to deliver business value.
Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical teams to recommend solutions to improve it.
Define and write/review the Functional process document (FS) in line with the BPD/BRD.
Present the FS to Technical architect for them to complete the design
Collaborates with IT portfolio managers PM & customers to codevelop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept to launch in a fastpaced environment.
Works with crossfunctional teams and various stakeholders including analytics design/user experience engineering and user enablement.
Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs refines priorities outlines milestones and deliverables and identifies opportunities and risks.
Review and approve the technical design working with Business
Should be able to manage Functional process for multiple projects with a team of functional analysts
Review the UAT test case and work with business and execution team closely to complete the UAT
To Support Global business per their time zones.
Participate in QA checkpoints during delivery to provide guidance and ensure solution aligns with original scope
Control change management working with Portfolio manager and execution lead
Translates product roadmap features into welldefined product requirements including features user stories and acceptance test criteria.
Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance postlaunch to evaluate future investment.
To ensure compliance with project management process implementation standards
Keep track of project performance and provide support for project team
Stay engaged with the team and maintain awareness of the project artifacts deliverables timeline
Facilitation and management of resolutions of risks and issues
Provide direction and coaching on project specific tasks. Gradually gain functional expertise to support dev teams with questions

Qualifications / Skills:
710 years experience in providing IT solutions to complex business problems by using varying technologies
Ideal candidate will have a mix of Q2C finance cost management manufacturing business processes
Fast learner to adapt to new applications softwares technology and business processes
Experience planning and reporting on projects with project management tools. Experience with risk management Must be willing to work flexible hours to support meetings with US or global customer and team on a regular basis Demonstrated understanding and use of Agile and Waterfall methodology Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills High level of customer focus and service excellence as you seek practical solutions Strong collaboration skills with internal/external customers and multifunctional teams A can do attitude with a team member mindset not supplier mind set Effective timemanagement skills and the ability to prioritize work assignments
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage influence and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
High degree of organization individual initiative and personal accountability
Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
Customer first mindset
Proactive selfstarter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Bachelors degree in information technology software engineering computer science or related field.
Working knowledge of following tools Confluence Jira Service NOW O365 suite of applications Java technology
Knowledge of Semiconductor industry a plus
