Lead Backend Developer

At Benjamin were passionate about rewarding everyday actions through our MoMos (Money Moments). Benjamin is a new cashrewards platform for consumers merchants and gamers to earn cash called Benjamin Money Moments by completing daily tasks playing casual games viewing content and ads and making everyday card purchases with cash back.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop cloud services with modern technologies (Node.js Express Fastify NestJS SQS Lamda etc.)
• Implement performant database solutions using PostgreSQL and PostGIS.
• Ensure in cooperation with the product manager that tasks within the development backlog are comprehensively defined and structured enabling straightforward implementation by developers ensuring technical feasibility.
• Work collaboratively with other developers architects and product managers to ensure system consistency and reflect business objectives in technical implementations.
• Maintain and improve code quality through continuous integration code review and automated deployments using Git and Jira.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in backend development with a proven track record of successful projects.
• Expertise in TypeScript along with extensive knowledge of Node.js frameworks
• 5 years in database design and management particularly with PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services

• Has extensive experience with AWS Cloud environments
