Role : System Architect
Location : Hybrid
Visa : At least 6 months of valid work authorization
(Citizen GC EAD H1B OPTEAD H4EAD)
Exp: 12 years
Need candidates who are local to MD or VA or East coast cities
Note : RECENT MARKETPLACE EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY
Duties/Responsibilities:
As a cloud solution architect on our team youll translate our customers IT needs and future goals into a plan
reviewing and identifying improvements in architecture products design specifications and requirements.
Engage in discussions and decisions regarding system architecture within a cloudhosted environment.
Provide support to ensure alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
Offer insights and recommendations for optimizing system architecture.
Design and develop solutions utilizing cloud services specifically AWS or Microsoft Azure Government.
Ensure solutions meet the technical requirements and align with the organizations objectives.
Utilize knowledge of cloud services to enhance system functionality and performance.
Analyze technical diagrams of cloudhosted solutions to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance architectural design and efficiency.
Establish standards and guidelines for integrated systems operating in a distributed cloud environment.
Provide localized governance to ensure consistency and compliance across systems.
Continuously evaluate and update standards to reflect industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Collaborate within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology to support agile development processes.
Contribute to agile ceremonies and activities to drive continuous improvement and delivery.
Navigate and operate within AWS or Microsoft Azure Government consoles to review and manage system
configurations.
Ensure proper configuration of cloud resources to maintain system security and efficiency.
Create technical analysis papers to articulate viewpoints on architectural designs and implementations.
Provide insights into the rationale behind architectural decisions and their impact on system performance and
scalability.
With your guidance well help transform the way that system development teams use technology including
software modernization and securing cloud systems.
Education:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in the specific discipline required by the State.
General Experience:
Experience participating in and supporting an Architectural Review Board for systems that operate in a cloud
hosted environment.
Experience architecting and/or developing solutions that operate on either AWS or Microsoft Azure Government
Experience reviewing technical architectural diagrams of cloud hosted solutions to identify opportunities for
enhancement
Experience developing standards and guidelines to provide localized governance of integrated systems operating
within a distributed cloud environment
Experience operating within Scaled Agile Framework
Experience developing editing reviewing diagrams in Microsoft Visio LucidChartsm PowerPoint
Experience working within the AWS or Microsoft Azure Government console to review configuration of resources
associated with a system
Experience writing technical viewpoint analysis papers
Ability to attain a public trust clearance
Specialized Experience:
Experience working with the Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services
Experience working with a system of systems
Experience working with TOGAF DODAF or other Enterprise Architecture frameworks
Attained a practitioner/foundational or Associate level cloud certification with a desire to continue to grow in
your professional development
Ability to uncover the hidden side of architectural designs and implementations to evolve the thinking of system
owners and develop solutions to enhance systems

Splunk Core Certified Consultant
Splunk IT Service Intelligence Certified Admin
