Job Type: 1 year contract

Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Quality Analyst with specialized expertise in testing Spring Boot integrations and applications. As a QA Automation Tester you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans test cases and scripts for Spring Boot integrations ensuring the quality and reliability of microservices and APIs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans test cases and scripts specifically tailored for Spring Boot integrations.
• Conduct functional integration and regression testing of microservices and APIs.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to identify testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Analyze test results identify defects and work collaboratively with developers to resolve issues.
• Automate test cases using industrystandard tools and frameworks such as JUnit TestNG or Selenium.
• Participate in various testing activities including application system load and integration testing as required.
• Measure and report key metrics such as code coverage and error frequency.
• Monitor system performance identify bottlenecks and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software testing with a focus on quality assurance and automation.
• Strong understanding of Spring Boot and demonstrable experience in testing its applications and integrations.
• Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman Swagger or SoapUI.
• Solid grasp of SQL and experience in database testing.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g. Java Python) is a plus.
