Product Manager

This is a remote position.

Our client is on a mission to help companies grow their businesses in Emerging Regions by making trade in and between countries simple and easy. Our goal is to create a connected platform where information can easily be exchanged work can be executed and data can be stored. We help companies achieve their growth goals and lower their costs. Towards this goal the Product&Design Team is responsible to design develop and integrate technical and supply chain solutions that connect suppliers vendors and customers in one ecosystem. This team works with both inhouse developers and third parties to design solutions and/or identify opportunities that will help us achieve our goals.

This role will be the single threaded owner of a specific product that through feature development will help unlock opportunities. This Role works backwards from our target business goals and objectives and delivers new and incremental features working with the tech and data organizations. They will be responsible to deliver results in the short term while keeping their eye on the product vision and how we are positioning ourselves in the market. Their knowledge about this space will reduce the time for discovery and research. Their inquisitive nature will help them to quickly evaluate build or buy scenario s to achieve incremental growth. The successful person will have the ability to exercise good judgment in the absence of data but agitate towards testing and verifying to deliver an impact.

On a day to day basis this Role is responsible to understand their stakeholders requirements and deliver results on time. They work with the technology and data teams to design the right solutions develop user stories and help to prioritize the development sprints. This Role will define the MVP and through gating reviews with users and customers ensure that we are going to market with the right set of capabilities. They are responsible for the entire product life cycle of their product.

Key Deliverables for this role:

• Develop Product roadmap product design document with key features and user stories
  

• Business cases with key stakeholders or in line with product vision
  

• Gating reviews for MVP and go to market phases
  

• Customer behavior adoption and analysis
  

Requirements

Experience (Must/Nice)

Must have

• 5 years experience in Product Management
  

• 25 years experience in Supply Chain Transportation or Logistics
  

Nice to have

• Experience in working in startup environment
  

• Experience in market place SaaS or fulfillment products
  

Skills

Must have

• Experience in taking a product to market managing the entire product lifecycle from idea through to creating value for the business.
  

• Deep understanding of network planning routing and capacity management
  

• Deep understanding of customer acquisition onboarding strategies to drive adoption
  

• Deep understanding of how to build recommendation engines based on customer and industry buying behavior
  

• Data Analytical skills ability to define metrics write queries and analyze results.
  

• Partial / Complete Domain knowledge in area of focus.
  

• Proven experience with developing a product design documents and user stories
  

• Experience in working in an agile environment and methodologies.
  

• Experience in user group studies with customers or internal users.
  

• Mental Agility to adapt to changing circumstances.
  

• Strong Stakeholder Engagement and communication skills
  

• Experience in working with Engineering Teams
  

• Strong judgment in the absence of firm data / ability to make decisions within an ambiguous environment
  

• Proficient in Spanish and English both written and verbal
  

Nice to have

• Familiar with low code/no code applications.
