Electrical Design Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be supporting the electrical design efforts supporting vacuum coating systems used in the solar industry. In addition you will have to carry out the following tasks:

• Independent design and modification of electrical equipment mainly for vacuum coating systems and their assemblies with the respective tools in accordance with the current standards (IEC NEC UL as region applicable).
  
• Use ECAD tools like E3 series or EPLAN
  
• Creation of all necessary electrical drawings as well as for the installation drawings.
  
• Supervision of production and assembly of electrical system.
  
• Developing control logic & power distribution schemes.
  
• Revision of electrical drawings after manufacturing installation and commissioning of equipment to specification and standards.
  

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering automation engineering mechatronics or related field
  
• Experience in electrical design
  
• Basic knowledge in applicable electrical standards (IEC NEC etc.) and CCC requirements
  
• Some travel required (e.g. to attend training / meetings / customer visits / international)
  
• Fluent English in speaking writing and reading. German is a plus
  
• Maintains valid driver s license passport and needed visas
