is currently looking for a candidate to join our team as a Quality Assurance Director. Pulpmill Services is a full service fabrication and machine shop located in Northeast Louisiana that specializes in custom highallow fabrication for the pulp and paper chemical and many other industries.

Skills Needed:

Knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and similar programs

5 years of quality assurance/quality control experience

MultiTasking

Customer Relations

Organization

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain all quality records as necessary for compliance with customer needs

Develop and maintain welding certification database

Review and markup drawings for QC checkpoints

Assist in development and certification of weld processes

Physically inspect welds measurements tolerances finishes etc as necessary

Develop inspection reports for customers

Assist in QA meetings with customers

Other duties as required

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Certified Welding Inspector

Knowledgeable in AWS D1.1/D1.6

10 years of quality assurance/quality control experience

Very organized and able to maintain a large volume of records

Other information related to role:

Typical work week with be MF approx 4050 hrs per week

Duties outside of typical work hours will be necessary on occasion
