Responsibilities:

• Provide topnotch managed services to support our valued clients Oracle database environments.
• Ensure the smooth maintenance and support of all Oracle environments including Production Test and Sandbox.
• Expertly handle database backup and recovery using cuttingedge tools such as CommVault RMAN and Datapump export/imports.
• Take charge of data refreshes/restores for Oracle databases ensuring data integrity and reliability.
• Configure and administer Oracle databases with finesse covering setup monitoring and building.
• Oversee highly available DataGuarded database environments ensuring continuous operations.
• Skillfully manage access permissions on AD groups for Oracle databases using CMU safeguarding data security.
• Act as the goto person to address any issues or questions across all Oracle environments providing prompt resolutions.
• Utilize your expertise to perform performance tuning for databases and assist in SQL tuning for optimal performance.
• Deploy database changes across all environments as needed ensuring seamless transitions.
• Conduct regular maintenance of database structures and monitoring to ensure peak performance.
• Take charge of quarterly patching and upgrades to Oracle databases ensuring they stay uptodate and secure.
• Provide crucial support for Linux upgrades and infrastructure changes for Oracle Databases keeping systems running smoothly.
• Offer oncall support during peak times to swiftly resolve any production issues that may arise.

Resources and Hour of Coverage:

• Nighttime On Call Support: Be on standby for 26 weeks per year from approximately 5 pm to 8 am EST. (Schedule TBD)
• Daytime Minor Enhancements: Available for 26 weeks approximately 1000 hours from 8 am to 5 pm EST. (Schedule TBD)
