POSITION API Engineer LOCATION REMOTE DURATION 6 Months CTH PAY RATE NA/hr C2C INTERVIEW TYPE Video VISA RESTRICTIONS USC or GC ONLY REQUIRED SKILLS Lead the development of robust and scalable APIs ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.

Implement highquality codebase using node spring boot .net core or other similar technologies.

Work closely with react native Ionic and iOS engineering teams to provide android expertise.
Required Skills : * Bachelor s degree from a fouryear college or university in a related area; Preferred degree in Engineering Computer Science or similar relevant field * 710 years with 68 years of full life cycle development experience and 57 years of programming and system design experience in financial services or a related industry; Or equivalent combination of education and experience * Experience in developing complex highperformance Android applications with a focus on user experience performance and scalability * Knowledge of modern software development practices such as Agile methodologies continuous integration and testdriven development (TDD) * Familiarity with API principles design guidelines and design techniques * Strong proficiency in API development using Node and Java with a deep understanding of API components and related frameworks * Deep understanding and commitment to software engineering principles and processes (e.g. Lean Agile DevOps) and continuous improvement through measurement * Excellent interpersonal communication negotiation and influencing skills to work effectively with all stakeholders (internal and external) making informationbased decisions * Proactive in identifying potential issues proposing solutions and driving continuous improvement in code quality performance and best practices * Ability to quickly establish strong credibility with employees business partners and external resources * Embodies and delivers the firm s values and culture towards colleagues clients and communities * Strong preference for work on technology transition from Java/.Net technologies to Node.js
