Job Description

The role is responsible to development & implement IT solutions, monitor the execution and facilitate the coordination between internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients. Ensure the successful completion of IT and Information Systems Projects within timelines, budget and aligned to quality standards.

  • Responsibilities

Operations

• Support in the preparation of the strategic initiatives and the required projects for the Digital Operation department

• Support the implementation of the strategic initiatives and projects for the Digital Operation Department.

• Support the development of annual business Information System plans.

• Support the assessment of customer requirements; analysis of the architecture of business events and data that support the architecture; evaluation of the possible solutions; and presenting recommendations to the digital operation management

• Support meeting all aspects of systems analysis, design, development, installation, maintenance, and enhancement for mission-critical Information systems for an assigned unit/area

• Support the implementation of project resourcing strategies, of allocating budget, staff (on-site and off-shore), tools, and provide specialized support necessary for cost-effective implementation and successful customer roll-out

• Manage project leads and integrating activities with other Digital Operation departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts

• Support in ensuring that Information systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices

• Support monitoring and reporting to Digital Operation Management and user/customer management on the status of multiple concurrent project efforts

• Contribute to anticipating and identifying issues inhibiting the attainment of project goals, developing, and implementing corrective actions

• Fostering and maintaining good relationships with business units/customers to ensure processes are integrated to support expected customer service levels

• Managing the development, deployment, and integration of software solutions.

• Determining system specifications and analyzing test stage data prior to software installation.

• Managing the installation and configuration of software solutions.

• Collaborating with end users on software functionality.

• Contribute to identify implications from the IT strategy and develop plans and initiatives for the infrastructure and Information Systems development team

• Manage the implementation delivery processes, procedures, tools standards and IT support services and drive implementation of the same

• Ensure the accountability and responsibility to Develop Information Systems, Acquire Information Systems, Enhance and Maintain Information Systems, Manage Operations of IT systems, Support and Train Users.

• Contribute to the Implementation of technology strategies for IT business solutions/technologies and align development action plans with organizational strategies and objectives including development of Information Technology.

• Ensuring the alignment of department’s strategies, plans and operations to meet the operational and changing needs of the business processes and services, as well as those of the IT Operations.

• Ensure the Implementation of the automation of IT Governance Process and required committees that would govern the decision-making process for IT strategies, IT Principles, IT Architecture, IT Infrastructure, Information Systems, IT investments and business application needs.

• Ensure the IT Governance processes and see that they are adequate and efficient to meet the unit’s ongoing operations and long-term strategy, and measured against industry standards such as Frameworks, TOM, ISO, ITIL and CoBIT.

• Contribute to enforcing the Information Systems (IS) Governance bodies and ensure towards the enforcement of IS governance across IT and the organisation.

• Contribute to improve organisational efficiency and productivity through use of systems best practices.

• Monitor end-to-end project implementation

• Continuously monitor project performance in terms of Cost, Quality and time; recommend corrective action in case of any deviations
