Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Overview:

We are in search of a meticulous and seasoned Accounts Payable Specialist to support our finance department on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of accounts payable procedures exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to excel in a fastpaced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable invoices
• Validate purchase orders against invoices securing necessary approvals
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Execute electronic transfers and payments with precision
• Contribute to monthend closing tasks as required
• Address vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain precise and current accounts payable records
• Assist in various adhoc projects and assignments under the guidance of the Finance Manager

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years in accounts payable or a related field
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks SAP or Oracle
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Proficient problemsolving abilities and capacity to work autonomously
• Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related discipline is preferred
