Collection Delivery Driver - Scotland

To support our continued growth we are seeking a new team member to support our operations in Scotland. Responsible for the collection of samples from our clients your role forms the first part of the overarching testing service provided by CTS. You will be client facing and as such will be a strong communicator and also have the ability to react and mange unexpected changes to client requests.

The position is based in Scotland a dedicated long wheel base commercial vehicle will be supplied as part of this role which can be parked overnight at your home (if allowable/feasible) or at Depots located at East Kilbride or Glasgow.

Collection / Delivery Driver duties and responsibilities will include:

• Daily review of route to ensure best efficiency has been applied.
• Collecting samples from client sites across the Central Belt
• Occasional travel to clients sites in the Highlands and Lowlands
• Transferring samples to the daily trunking route
• Completing sample container deliveries to clients
• Liaising with clients as/when required e.g. directions to nonstandard locations
• Following the procedures set out by the ISO17025 Quality Management System
• Downloading and storing daily temperature records (Refrigerated van)
• Ensuring van is checked daily and suitable for use
• Keeping vehicle clean and well presented at all times (inside and out)

Collection / Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Good oral written and numeracy skills
• Computer literate
  
• Clean driving licence preferable (maximum 3 penalty points)
• Previous commercial driving experience would be highly advantageous
• Comfortable driving LWB commercial vehicles
• Adept at using satnav systems for wayfinding
