Shop Manager

• Ensures equipment operation and reliability by inspecting assessing and following operating instructions; troubleshoots and repairs equipment as needed.
  
• Maintains required supplies tools and responsible for organizing the shop facility.
  
• Corrects equipment deficiencies by removing repairing adjusting overhauling assembling disassembling and replacing components parts or systems.
  
• Manage repair and maintenance vendors.
  
• Verifies equipment performance by conducting tests and adjusting controls and systems. Keep shop organized and clean.
  
• Coordinates logistics and is responsible for equipment rotation.
  
• Directs employees engaged in handling storing and working on equipment product stock and other objects in the shop.
  

Requirements

• Seven (7) or more years of equipment maintenance construction and repairs along with a willingness to learn about new resources used in the industry.
  
• Five (5) years or more years of management experience.
  
• Knowledge of refinery turnaround planning execution and scheduling. Excellent leadership customer service and written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Experienced in Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint.
  
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
