Software Development Engineer

At The Wise Seeker we are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our client: a creative staffing agency for creatives by creatives with offices in Portland Austin Los Angeles Boise & San Francisco.

Functions

1. Understand the LPDRAM state machine and develop the hardware models for DRAM features and the related validation test bench.
2. Develop memory controller models including request scheduling address mapping etc. to enable new DRAM features.
3. Develop the automation test scripts using Python to improve the overall simulation methodologies.
4. Develop new DRAM technology changes per the spec and the state machine and the validation test bench.

Requirements

1. Bachelors/masters degree in Electronics and/or Computer Engineering or
2. Computer Science or related field and familiar with Computer Architecture.
3. Experience with C/C or Python prefer both.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to collaboratively work with many varied teams.
5. Proven ability to work in a dynamic multitasked environment.

Skills

1. Experience with SystemC/Gem5 or TLM frameworks is a plus.
2. Experience with Power and Performance Analysis is a bonus.
3. Familiar with debugging interfaces debugging interfaces such as GDB and PDB.
4. Understanding of the Mobile SOC system and Android system is a plus.
5. Understanding and experience in system Benchmarking and multimedia applications is a plus.
6. Knowledge of DRAM memory controller architecture including LPDDR protocols is a plus.
