Business Analyst

At The Wise Seeker we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our client: a creative staffing agency for creatives by creatives with offices in Portland Austin Los Angeles Boise & San Francisco.

Functions

1. Partner with the finance organization applying your understanding of finance planning processes to develop tool application strategy and vision.
2. Partner with the broader business organization and IT to centralize forecasting processes.
3. Use end to end systems thinking to design document and implement solutions in the application to meet strategic and operational goals.
4. Provide indepth domain specific analysis of technical problems or issues research and recommend alternative actions for problem resolution.
5. Support end users with production issues and enable end user selfsufficiency in the application.
6. Collaborate with IT to perform system integrations and provide ongoing business support.
7. Support tool adoption by leading education sessions and training end users.

Requirements

1. Bachelors degree in finance information systems or related field
2. 4 years of experience in finance accounting and/or reporting
3. Demonstrate understanding of FP&A processes and standard methodologies
4. Strong analytical problemsolving and interpersonal skills
5. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills attention to detail
6. Development experience with Hyperion Essbase IBM Planning Analytics TM1 SAP Analytics Cloud Workday Adaptive Planning or similar application
7. Proficient in SAP Hana and SQL
8. MS Word Excel and PowerPoint skills
