Job Description

As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist you will work with children to help them develop recover or maintain the skills needed for daily living and achieving developmental milestones. You will assess each childs needs and develop individualized treatment plans to improve their cognitive physical sensory and motor skills. Your goal will be to help children participate in meaningful activities and reach their full potential. Must have a flexible schedule.


Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate childrens abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Use a variety of techniques to help children improve their motor sensory and cognitive skills.
  • Work with children individually or in groups to achieve therapy goals.
  • Collaborate with parents teachers and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Provide guidance and education to parents and caregivers on how to support their childs development at home.
  • Maintain detailed records of treatment plans progress and outcomes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of developmental milestones and pediatric conditions.
  • Experience with sensory integration therapy.
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment.

Working Conditions:

  • Pediatric occupational therapists will travel to home or schools to provide services


Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • State license or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Bachelors Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current GA OT license
